Bhavna Champion comes from a leadership and change management background of over 30 years in the corporate world. She has been immersed in numerous start-up projects in both IT and Recruitment sectors that have required out-of-the-box solutions and rigour to ensure maximum effectiveness.

A flagship project was a large-scale recruitment venture in New Zealand. The diversity of roles and varying cultures coupled with historically low unemployment rates presented a challenging twist. We needed to find talent in places where no one else was looking. A robust strategy was implemented to engage with candidates in a new and refreshing way. This left candidates clear that their career aspirations matter. The project achieved 98% fill rate over a three-year period, and 64% of the candidates were hidden in an existing database. Hiring times reduced significantly to two weeks. Engagement and retention were front of mind and we were instrumental in facilitating opportunities for growth. The project has since been recognised as ground breaking. Over the years, Bhavna has implemented similar models across numerous businesses.
